An angle is 14o more than its complementary angle. What is the measure?

Open in App
Solution

Let the first angle is =xo

Then, the second angle is =x+14o.

We know that, if two angles are complementary, then their sum is 90o.

According to given question,

x+x+14=90o

2x=90o14o

2x=76o

x=38o.

Hence, the angles are x=38o

and x+14o=38o+14o=52o.
