The orbital velocity of a satellite in a circular orbit of radius r is given by

v=GMr

The angular momentum of the satellite will be

L=mvr=m(GMr)r

Since mass m of both satellite are same and, G and M are constant.

So, L2L1=r2r1=R2R=12

Here, r1=2R; r2=R; L1=L

L2L=R2R=12

L2=L2

Hence, option (b) is correct.
