Let radius of the circle be r.

In the first case, distance travelled = 2πr, and time taken, t1 = 5 s
In the second case, distance travelled = 4r, and let the time taken be t2.
We know, distance=speed×time
As speed of ant is constant, timedistance
t2t1 = 4r2π r.
t2= 4r2πr×5
= 2π×5
= 3.18 s
