Solution

100g solution contains 10gNaCl

w=10g,mNaCl=58.5, Volume of solution =1001.071×1000litre

wH2O=10010=90g

Molarity = Wt.ofsolutemol.wt.ofsolute×VinL=10×1.071×100058.5×100=1.83M

Molality =Wt.ofsolutemol.wt.ofsolute×weightofsolventinKg=10×10005.85×90=1.90m

Mole fraction of NaCl=w/mw/m+W/M=10/58.510/58.5+90/18=0.03

Mole fraction of H2O=10.03=0.97
