Marked price will be $=C.P.+40$ % of $C.P.=\frac{140}{100}\times C.P.=\frac{140}{100}\times 3,750=Rs5,250$
Discount $=8$ % of Marked Price $=\frac{8}{100}\times 5,250=Rs420$
And Selling price will be $=$ Marked Price $-$ Discount $=Rs5,250-Rs420=Rs4,830$
