Let the $C P$ be $R s 100$
$M P = 100 + (60 / 100 \times 100)$
$= R s 160$ \
Then $20$ discount was allowed,
Discount $% = 20$
Discount $= 20 / 100 \times R s 160$
$= R s 32$
$S P = M P - D i s c o u n t$
$S P = R s (160 - 32)$
$= R s 128$
$P r o f i t = R s (128 - 100)$
$= R s 28$
$P r o f i t$
$= (28 / 100 \times 100) %$
$= 28 %$
