Profit $= 5 %$
cost price = $x$
$S P = C P + (C P \times \frac{P r o f i t p e r c e n t a g e}{100})$
$250 = x + (x \times \frac{5}{100})$
$250 = x + \frac{x}{20}$
$250 = \frac{20 x + x}{20}$
$250 \times 20 = 21 x$
$21 x = 5000$
$∴ x = R s . 238$
