Radius of the orbit = 42250 km = 42250 x 1000 m
Time taken for one revolution = 24 hours = 24 x 60 x 60 sec
Speed = ?

Speed=distance/time=2xPi x r/ time = (2x3.14x42250x1000)/ (24x60x60) = 3073.74 meter per second. or 3.07 kilometer per second.
