Step :Find the Surface area of a shape:

The brick is in the shape of the rectangular prism. The surface area of the prism is given:

S=2lw+2wh+2hl

Where l,b,h are the length, width and the height of the brick.

Here, l=10 inches, w=4 inches & h=3 inches.

Let’s substitute all these values in the formula:

S=2(10)(4)+2(10)(3)+2(4)(3)S=2×10×4+2×10×3+2×4×3S=80+60+24S=164

Therefore, The surface area of the brick is 164in2.
