Solution

The correct option is B

₹ 2,00,000

Sale amount of the house = ₹ 22,00,000

This price includes 10% commission charges of the auctioneer.

Let the Price without the 10% charge be ₹ x

As per problem,

x + 10100×x = ₹ 22,00,000

110x100 = ₹ 22,00,000

x = 2200000×100110 = ₹ 20,00,000

Amount paid to the Auctioneer = ₹ 22,00,000 - ₹ 20,00,000 = ₹ 2,00,000
