Solution

The correct option is A 1500 ohm
Given : N=500turns
resistance of coil,Rc=1500=500Ω
Area of each turn,A=0.02m2
induced charge,Δq=4106C
magnetic field,B=4104T
θ1=0 and θ2=180
To find : resistance of galvanometer,Rg=?
Solution: As we know that,
em.f. induced,ε=NΔϕΔt
also,ε=ΔqΔtR
So,
ΔqΔtR=NΔϕΔt
==>ΔqR=NΔϕ ....(1)
Now, mean area of coil=Areaofeachcoilperturnno.ofturns/totalturns
==>mean area of coil=A500/500=A
Now, Δϕ=finalfluxinitialflux
==>Δϕ=BAcosθ2BAcosθ1
==>Δϕ=BAcos180BAcos0
==>Δϕ=BABA
==>Δϕ=2BA ....(2)
Equating both (1),(2),we get
==>ΔqR=2NBA

here R is resistane and has value R=Rc+Rg
==>4106R=250041040.02
==>Rc+Rg=2000
==>Rg=(2000500)Ω
==>Rg=1500Ω
hence,
The correct opt : A
