The correct option is A7.5Ω Initially : Resistance of given cable
R=ρlπ×(9×10−3)2 .....(i) Finally : Resistance of each insulated copper wire is R′=ρlπ×(3×10−3)2 Hence equivalent resistance of cable Req=R′6=16×(ρlπ×(3×10−3)2) .......(ii) On solving equation (i) and (ii) we get Req=7.5Ω
