The correct option is A $$\displaystyle 4.8\times { 10 }^{ 5 }J$$
Given :   $$R = 100\Omega$$           $$t = 20\times 60 = 1200$$ s             $$I =2$$ A
$$\therefore$$ Heat energy produced      $$H = I^2Rt  = 2^2\times 100\times 1200 = 4.8\times 10^5$$ J
