Velocity of the train = 120 km/h

= 120×518ms1

= 1003ms1

Time = 30 sec

Step 2: Formula used

Distance=Speed×Time

Step 3: Finding the distance covered by the train

Putting all the values

Distance=1003ms1×30s

Distance=100×10

Distance=1000m=1km

Hence the distance covered by the train is 1000m.
