De-broglie wavelength is given by:
λn=h/mnvn
According to Bohr's postulate
mvnrn=nh/2π (nthorbit)
on rearranging we get:
h/mnvn=2πrn/n
thus λn=2πrn/n
circumference of nth orbit =2πrn
therefore λn=circumference/n
or circumference=n.λn
given that λ3=λ
thus circumference of 3rd orbit is (n=3)
circumference=3.λ3=3λ
