An electron is not deflected, while moving through a certain region of space. Can we be sure that there is no magnetic field in the region?

If the electron is not deflected in passing through a certain space,it is not necessary that there is no magnetic field as the force will be zero when the direction of motion is along the direction of the field.(along the field with zero deflection).
