An empty cubical carton is of side $9$ cm. Can you fit in $1000$ cubes of side $1$ cm in it?

Solution

Empty cubical cartoon side $= 9 c m$
Volume $= 9^{3} = 729 c m^{3}$
Volume pf cube of $1 c m = 1 c m^{3}$
$∴$ only $729$ cubes can be fit in cube of $9 c m$ .
$1000$ can't be filted in.
