Total no. of revolutions made by meter = meter constant (revolution/kWh) × Power × time (kWh)

Total no. of revlutions made by meter at rated load during tested in one hour (N2)

=630×3600=720 revolution/hr

meter constant is 600 rev/ kWh,

So number of revolution it should make is (N1)

=600×5×2301000=690revolution/hr

N2>N1 so meter is running faster

%error=N2N1N1×100=720690690×100=4.3478

By placing a breaking magnet closer to center of disc, meter can be made faster.
