From equation (1) and (2),
e=30 & i=53


Applying snells law, at refracting surfaces of prism
1.sin53=μsinr.....(3)
μsinr=0.8....(4)
μsin(60r)=sin 30....(5)

μsin(60)cosrμcos60sinr=sin 30....(4)
μcosr3μsinr=1
μcosr=1.8/3...(6)
On squaring and adding 4 & 6, we get
