Weight of liquid = 14850=98 g
Volume of liquid =980.98=100 mL= volume of vessel
It means, vessel of 100 mL contains ideal gas at 760 mm Hg at 300 K
Weight of gas = 50.550=0.5 g
using, PV=nRT, where, n=wm
So,
PV=wmRT
Substituting the values, we get,
760760×1001000=0.5m0.082×300
=123
Molecular mass of gas m=123 g
