Given: W=dU , adiabatic exponent (γ)=1.5
Solution:
As W=dU (1)
PdV=nCvdT
From first law of thermodynamics, dQ=dU+W (2)
Putting value of equation (1) in equation (2) we get,
dQ=2dU
nCdT=2nCvdT
C=2Cv
C=2Rγ1
Putting γ=1.5, we get,
C=4R
Hence correct option is A.
