The correct option is A 8.8
The average output voltage,

V0=αVs

=0.5×20

=10V
The power delivered to load = 80 W

Load current =80W10=8A

The ripple current (peak to peak) in capacitor
= 1.6 A

Peak current=I0+Δic2=8+1.62
= 8 + 0.8 = 8.8 A
