Myopia is a defect where the person can get to focus nearby objects clearly ,i.e.; the images of the nearby objects fall correctly on the retina after refraction, whereas the distant object doesn’t exactly fall on the retina.

This is because the eye lens may be too convexed. In this case, when the eyeball is too convexed, it will be unable to focus on distant objects. This means that the image of the object falls short of the retina and will be formed in front of the retina.

This causes blurred vision and there are several corrective methods that can be adopted, one of them being the usage of corrective lenses.

Hence, (A) is the right answer for the given question.
Note: To correct this defect, we deploy the usage of concave lenses. The concave lens will help in divergence of parallel light rays, before it is focused on the retina by the convex eye lens. Other corrective methods include eye correction surgery.
