Open in App
Solution

The induced current has no direction of its own always flows in a direction so that it opposes the cause. For example, if a magnet is dropped through a copper ring, the induced current flows in the ring in the clockwise direction, till the magnet does not come out of the ring from the other side. But as soon as the magnet leaves the ring the direction of the current will become anti-clockwise in according to Lenz's law.it shows that an induced current has no direction of its own.
