Word problem on integers:
An insect goes up $5 cm$ in one second and it comes down by $2 cm$ in next one second.
Therefore, distance travelled in $2 \sec = 5 - 2 = 3 cm$
Since , it travels $3 cm$ in $2 \sec$ , hence to travel $60 cm$ , it will take
$\frac{60}{3} \times 2 = 20 \times 2 = 40 \sec$
Hence, it will take $40 seconds$ to climb the rod.
