The most appropriate device for his need must be the multi-colour LED.
LED is the acronym of light emitting diode. It is actually a diode having p-n junction. When electric current is passed through the junction, a large number of electrons in n and holes in p combine. This combination lets the electron achieve lower energy states and release photons, thus we get light.
Multicolor LED has three separate LED bulbs viz. red, blue and green in one package. They change colour on varying voltage, there is electronic control system that varies the colour of the bulbs.
