Throat thickness = $t=0.7\times 5=3.5mm$

Strength of weld per mm = $\frac{3.5\times 410}{\sqrt{3}\times 1.5}=552N/mm$

Required length of weld = $\frac{700\times {10}^3}{552}=1268mm$

The maximum length of weld that be provided in channel
$=300\times 2+250=850mm<1268mm$

Length of slot weld = x mm

$1268=2\times 300+250+4x$

x = 104.5 m
