An L.P.G. cylinder weighs 14.8 kg when empty. When full weighs 29 kg and shows a pressure of 2.5 atm. In the coursed used at 27C, the weight of the full cylinder reduced to 23.3 kg. Find out the volume of n-butane in cubic metres used up to 27C and 1 atm. [Mol. mass of butane =58].

Mass of n-butane used =2923.2=5.8 kg
Number of moles of butane used =580058=100
V=nRTP=100×0.0821×3001
=2463 litre
=2.463 m3
