An object can have zero average velocity but cannot have zero average speed. Justify.

Because....
for avg velocity ......when displacement becomes zero it will also become zero...
avg velocity = displacement/total time

but for avg speed it cannot be zero....total distance travelled cannot be zero.
therefore it will not be zero
avg speed= total distance / total time...
