Question

An object having high ignition temperature is considered good or bad and why?

Open in App
Solution

Ignition temperature is the lowest temperature at which objects start burning. It depends on the usage of the object whether ignition temperature should be high or low.
For example, if the object is to be used as fuel then it should have moderate ignition temperature otherwise, it would be difficult to ignite it. Whereas if the object is to be used in places where the temperature of the environment is high, then the object must have high ignition temperature.
