The correct option is A 14.47 s
Given,
Speed of sound in sea water, v=1520m/s
Object's distance, d=11 km=11000 m
Time between transmission and detection, t=?

We know,
Distance travelled by the sonar signal
=2×objects distance=2d=2×11000
=22000 m

Now,
2d=speed of sound×time
2d=vt
t=2dv=22000 m1520 m/s=14.47 s

So it will take 14.47 s for the echo to reach the vessel.
