An object is kept at 60 cm in front of a plane mirror. If the mirror is now moved 25 cm away from the object, how does the image shift from its previous position?Explain with help of a diagram.

There is no need of any diagram for this question.
Problem is solved as below.
Same method can be applied to all similar questions.

If mirror is moved with distance x then image in the mirror will move by distance 2x.

Given x= 25cm

then 2x = 50 cm.

So, image will be shift by 50cm.
