$h_i=2h_0$

$h_i=$ height of image

$h_o=$ height of object

Magnification, $m=\frac{h_i}{h_0}$

$=\frac{{-2h}_0}{h_0}$

$m=-2$

We know,

$m=-\frac{v}{u}$

$-2=\frac{-v}{(-12)}$

$v=-24cm$

Image position is $24cm$ from the mirror on the same side of the object
