The correct option is B real, inverted, and of same size
Object distance, u=40cm

Focal length, f=20cm

According to mirror formula,

1u+1v=1f or 1v=1f1u

or 1v+1201(40)=120+140

1v=2+140=140 or v=40cm

Negative sign shows that image is infront of concave mirror.
The image is real.

Magnification, m=vu=(40)(40)=1

The image is of the same size and inverted.
