u= -30 cm
f= 20 cm
v=?

Using lens formua

1/f=1/v-1/u

1/v = 1/f+1/u
v= uf/u+f
= -600/-10
= 60 cm

As v is positive so image is real

ii) M= v/u = 60/-30 = -2

iii) Image is real.
