The correct option is B 10 cm
Distance between object and its image before the object moved was,
Dinitial = 25 cm × 2 = 50 cm

Now, since the object moved 5 more centimetres away from the mirror, the new distance between the object and the mirror is 30 cm.

Therefore distance between the object and its image is,
Dfinal = 30 cm × 2 = 60 cm

Therefore, increased distance is equal to,
Increase = Dfinal Dinitial = 60 50 = 10 cm
