An object moves from A to B and then to C. After reaching C, it takes a u turn and reaches B along the line shown in the figure below.
Find the distance covered by the moving object when it finally reaches B.

The correct option is C 65 m
Looking at the diagram it is clear that, each unit marked represents 5 m of path length. Distance is the actual length travelled by the object.
From A to C the distance is 45 m and again from C to B we have, 4 segments of 5 m each i.e. 20 m.
So total distance is 45 m+20 m=65 m
