The correct option is A 10 cm
Here,
u = – 20 cm
v = – 40 cm (it has a negative sign because the image is real and in front of the mirror)
Magnification, $m = \frac{h_{i}}{h_{0}} = - \frac{v}{u}$
$\Rightarrow h_{i} = - \frac{v}{u} h_{o} = - \frac{- 40}{- 20} \times 5 = - 10 c m$
Therefore, the height of the image is 10 cm.
