We know,
Acceleration, a=v2u22s
where v and u are final and initial velocities respectively & s is the displacement.

Here, g=v2u22h. Also, u=0
Velocity when it touches ground, v=2gh

v=2gh=2×9.8×2
K.E=12mv2=12×5001000×(2×9.8×2)2 =12×5001000×2×9.8×2=9.8J
