Given:
Speed in first 2 seconds = 50 ms1
Speed in the next 2 seconds = 70 ms1
Distance travelled in the first 2 seconds
= 50×2=100 m
Distance travelled in the next 2 seconds
= 70×2=140 m

Total distance travelled=100+140=240 m
Total time taken =4 s
Average speed=Total distance coveredTotal time taken=2404=60 ms1
