The correct option is B 2g/3
Let each side of cube be of length 'H'.
Given,Volume of water spilled out = 13× H3 --- (1)
If the surface dip by height 'h'
Then,the volume of spilled liquid = area of triangle×side of cube
= 12×h× H2 --- (2)
From (1),(2) 13× H3 = 12×h× H2
h=23× H
Angle made by the surface with horizontal be θ,
tanθ = ag (See concept)
From figure, tanθ = hH
So, a=g×hH
a=2g3
