According to Charle's law,
VT at constant pressure
Initial volume of air V1=V
Initial temperature T1=300 K
Final temperature T2=500 K
Final volume V2=?

At constant pressure, V1T2=V2T1
V2=V1T2T1=V×500300=5V3
Hence, the volume of air increased due to the increase in temperature. In order to maintain constant pressure, some volume of air must escape.
Volume of air escaped
= final volume - initial volume
=5V3V=2V3

% of air escaped
=volume of air escapedtotal final volume of air
