Question

An open flask contains air at 27c . To what temperature it must be heated to expel one - fourth of the volume . In this question can I use the Charles law as v/T = constant . If not then why ?

Solution

Since it is an opeb flask the pressure us atmospheric and hence always contant.
The volume can also be considered constant due to tremendous volume of atmospheric air.
So charles law dors not apply here.
And the first part is unsolvable and does not make sense.
