The correct option is C $C_{2} H_{5} O H$

The compound reacts with conc. $H_{2} S O_{4}$ and colorless gas formed which decolorizes bromine water and alkaline $K M n O_{4}$ , which suggest that product is alkene and the compound is alcohol which has a pleasant odor.

Now given boiling point of that alcohol is 78 degrees, so it definitely Ethanol. Complete reaction is given above.
