Kinetic energy acquired by th electron in potential difference 20 kV is

K=20×103 eV

The energy of the X- rays photon,

E=0.05×20×103 eV=103 eV

hcλ=103 eV

λ=hc103 eV

λ=(4.14×1015 eV-s)×(3×108 m/s)103 eV

λ=12.42×1010 m=1.24 nm

Hence, option (B) is the right answer.
