An umbrella is made by stitching 6 triangular pieces of cloth of red and black colours each measuring 20cm, 50cm, and 50cm. How much cloth of each colour is required for umbrella?

Total cloth required per colour =6× Area of one part
Area of one part :-
sides 20,50,50
s=a+b+c2=20+50+502=60
Where a=20, b=50, c=50
Area =s(sa)(sb)(sc)=60(40)(10)(10)=10024
Area =2006 sq units
So, Total cloth required per colour =6×2006=12006 unit2
