The correct option is B $20$ kg
Let the amount of salt be $x$ kg.
We know that $10$ kg of sugar was used.
Therefore, the ratio is $x : 10$ which can be written as $\frac{x}{10}$
Given, the ratio of salt used to sugar used is $2 : 1$ which can be written as $\frac{2}{1}$
Given, $\frac{x}{10} = \frac{2}{1}$

$\Rightarrow$ $x = 20$
$∴$ $20$ kg of salt was used.
