Relative density of liquid =R.D.liquid = 1.2
Density of water =1 g/cm3
Relative density of metal =Density of metalDensity of water at 4 C
Density of metal =ρmetal=2.6 g/cm3
Mass of metal =V×m=1000×2.6=2600 g
Weight of aluminium cube acting downwards =2600 gf
Volume of liquid displaced = Volume of cube =V=1000 cm3
Upthrust due to liquid=V×ρliquid×g
