Question

anaerobic respiration in bacteria and fungi is a curse

Open in App
Solution

Anaerobic respiration is a blessing for bacteria and fungi that they can grow in any adverse condition whether in presence or in absence of oxygen. They do not have to depend upon oxygen to survive. But this fact is not always a blessing for us. Due to this characteristic they can grow everywhere and it is difficult for us to prevent the growth and effect of harmful bacteria and fungi.
