The buildings were well built and well equipped with modern amenities. Roads and streets were built in a grid pattern. Drains were well built with manholes. Public buildings existed which shows traces of a good and efficient bureaucracy. 2. Trade. The people maintained commercial contacts with Mesopotamia , Egypt and Persian Gulf. There was a dockyard to support trading activities. Import and export of commodities have rise to a flourishing foreign trade.
